Blythe Projects. Lotsa words.

So, it’s a new year and I really have to get working on those 4 blythe doll projects I’ve had lying around for a good while. So, today I finished the wig for the sweet lolita-themed blythe I’m customizing for ebay. 

AND IT IS GLORIOUS

I can’t find my camera right now…so no picture. But imagine a pale turquoise very short wig with bangs, and 2 sausage curl pigtails. With baby pink streaks all throughout.

She’s gonna look so cute. I can’t even describe how perfect this wig came out! As for her outfit, I bought her the pullip angelic pretty black sugary carnival outfit off ebay, so…that’s sorta perfect. It just needs some slight adjustments (cause I’m a perfectionist and some things are attached hastily)

I don’t know if I’ll be finishing her fist…I think the lady gaga one should be finished first because she is like 90% done. I just have to make poster board crystals for her stand and then spray paint it silver, and dye her wigs…but the paper crystals are going to be so tedious, I am just totally dreading it.

Whereas, this lolita blythe is so different from my usual style, it is refreshing and fun to do. I could never dress in lolita myself (I’m a slightly overweight giant), but it is fun to dress this little doll.
